About the Role:
Join Clarian Place Child Care and Learning Center as a Lead Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture young minds in a vibrant learning environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere for all children.
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution strategies among students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a teaching role within a childcare or educational setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Passion for nurturing young children and fostering their love for learning.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in team initiatives.
